Bring the grace of the Andalusian horse into your kitchen. This acrylic board features original equestrian artwork by Lesley Harrison, known for her soft, painterly horse portraits. A white Andalusian with a flowing mane moves through a misty wash of burnt orange, pinks and charcoal, as if galloping through dust at sunset.

It makes a lovely gift for the horse lover in your life, and it looks as good on the counter as it does in use. Display it, serve on it, or use it as a decorative counter protector.

Care & Cleaning Instructions

Acrylic is durable but scratches more easily than glass, so gentle care keeps the artwork looking its best.

  1. Hand wash only. Use warm water, a few drops of mild dish soap and a soft cloth or sponge.
  2. Rinse well with clean, lukewarm water to remove all soap residue.
  3. Dry right away with a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth to prevent water spots.
  4. Avoid abrasives. Don’t use scouring pads, steel wool, or powdered or gritty cleansers.
  5. Avoid harsh chemicals. Ammonia-based cleaners (such as window cleaners), alcohol and acetone can cloud or craze acrylic.
  6. No dishwasher. High heat can warp the board, and the wash cycle can damage the finish.
  7. Keep away from heat. Don’t place hot pans or dishes on the board, and keep it away from open flame and the stovetop.
  8. Protect the surface. To avoid scratches and preserve the artwork, use a gentle touch and avoid heavy chopping or sharp knives.
  9. Remove light scratches with a plastic-safe polish made for acrylic, applied with a soft cloth.
